Child Protection
The YMCA of Queanbeyan is committed to the safety and well being of all children and young people accessing it's programs and services. We support the rights of the child and will strive to deliver a child safe environment at all times.
YMCA staff and volunteers have a duty of care to ensure that all who access the association's programs, services and facilities are provided with a safe, open and honest environment that protects children and young people.
Staff and volunteers will have a police check along with the state legislated Working with Children screening requirements conducted by the YMCA of Queanbeyan. Staff are also required to regularly access training in Child Protection and related matters.
Services
Available to all primary school children during NSW School Holidays.
Based at the YMCA Childrens Centre, 2 Southbar Road, Queanbeyan.
Your child's needs and choices are respected and catered for by our staff when planning programs.
Activities available include games, craft, drama, dance, painting, cooking, stories and excursions.
Cost is $37.00 per day - cost includes all excursions.
Meals are not provided. Your child must bring a packed lunch.
Open from 8.00am till 6.00pm - Late fees apply after 6.00pm.
YMCA Vacation Care is an Accredited NCAC Childcare Service and Child Care Benefit is available through Centrelink for eligible families.

Spring Vacation Care - This program runs for 2 weeks commencing Monday 29th September 2008, concluding Friday 10th October 2008.

Bookings are essential as places are limited.
Payment must accompany the Application.
Bus seating for excursions is limited to 50 and are allocated by order of booking. Care and activities will still be available at the YMCA for those children that do not gain a seat.
Please note that ACT School Holidays do not always align with NSW School Holidays.
