Our YMCA is very much children oriented. We have very talented and dedicated staff who put together programs that cater for their needs and abilities, the many smiling faces you will see during your visit will attest to this.
We also run fitness programs for over 60's and are currently planning more diversity in programs for this age group.
Child Protection
The YMCA of Queanbeyan is committed to the safety and well being of all children and young people accessing it's programs and services. We support the rights of the child and will strive to deliver a child safe environment at all times.
YMCA staff and volunteers have a duty of care to ensure that all who access the association's programs, services and facilities are provided with a safe, open and honest environment that protects children and young people.
Staff and volunteers will have a police check along with the state legislated Working with Children screening requirements conducted by the YMCA of Queanbeyan. Staff are also required to regularly access training in Child Protection and related matters.

Our Autumn Vacation Care Program will commence on Tuesday, 6th April 2010 and run for two weeks, concluding on Friday, 16th April 2010.
Please Note: We will also be running a program for the pupil free day on Monday, 19th April 2010.
A copy of this program will be available at this website and at the YMCA office, 2 Southbar Road, Queanbeyan from Monday, 22nd March 2010.
